Agulhas Country Lodge in L'Agulhas
Experience the southern most tip of Africa, where the two oceans really meet. Built from natural stone, set against the hill, Agulhas Country Lodge offers Cape Agulhas Accommodation with spectacular sea views from nearly every vantage point. Guests can enjoy hospitable service and exceptional cuisine with the emphasis on fresh seafood in the Country Lodge's own restaurant. En suite bedrooms each have private balconies and sea views. There are 8 en suite bedrooms with private balconies that overlook the sea. There are bedrooms with twin beds, double beds and queen size extra length beds. All rooms have showers, some have baths as well and two have jacuzzi baths. Guests are offered a tea and coffee making facility in the rooms.
Fresh fish and seafood bought daily at the nearby harbour in Struisbaai are a specialty and the emphasis of the food is to serve delicious, honest and local fair, prepared with the freshest ingredients. The restaurant also serves traditional South African cuisine with a modern twist and local organic venison and pork feature regularly. Tables are elegant, decked out in white linen, Carol Boyes cutlery and cut glass crystal but the atmosphere is relaxed, with fires blazing in winter to add to the romantic atmosphere
The honeymoon rooms have an entertainment centre and mini bar. All the upstairs rooms have air conditioners and all rooms have panel heaters. Swimming at the longest uninterrupted white beach in southern Africa at nearby Struisbaai is a popular activity in summer and is safe. Agulhas offers two tidal pools within walking distance and the second oldest light house is a brisk walk away. Also don’t miss the eco coastal safari through the Agulhas National Park or a sea excursion for deep sea fishing or simply for pleasure.
Facilities include our restaurant, with 4 course gourmet dinner, Cigar Lounge, Aviation & Maritime theme Bar, newly opened Laundry Facility and Internet Access. Two family rooms with 3 single beds is available, payment per person as stipulated in rates. Children under 6 years pay half price. All 8 rooms are en suite, all have balconies with sea views. Rooms have tea trays, hair dryers, swimming towels, gowns, toiletries and Jacuzzi rooms have TV’s. No self catering facilities. Rooms have either twin three quarter beds, double beds or queen (extra length).
Rates below are quoted in South African Rand per person, per night, sharing and are inclusive of a full breakfast. No dogs or other pets are allowed.

After about 35km you will reach Struisbaai
Stay on the Beach Road all the way through Struisbaai towards L'Agulhas As you come into Agulhas you will see Agulhas Country Lodge on your right.
